Kanaloa Wave

Kanaloa Wave is a sculpture that embodies the deep blue color of the ocean with a sea turtle rising above the water. The god of the ocean, Kanaloa, is painted on the shell of the sea turtle. The water and waves are hand formed acrylic while the turtle is made of clay. The entire piece is hand painted in great detail. The ocean water moves from a deep blue hue to a translucent clear wave giving the piece the feel of the water’s movement.
